Job OverviewJoin our innovative team as a Virtual STEM Educator and make a significant impact on students' lives while working from the convenience of your home. We offer a variety of flexible teaching opportunities that allow you to select assignments tailored to your certification through our extensive network of school and district partners. This role operates as a 1099 Independent Contractor position aligned with the school districtÂs calendar, with immediate start dates available following the completion of the application and training process.
Key Responsibilities
 Access a dedicated educator portal to choose from an array of teaching assignments that correspond with your certification.
 Inspire and engage students in a virtual learning environment to enhance motivation and learning outcomes.
 Design and implement effective strategies that support student academic success and foster meaningful relationships.
 Develop lesson plans that align with the designated curriculum for your courses.
 Monitor and evaluate student progress, maintaining precise records of performance and grades.
Required Skills
 Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
 Capability to motivate and engage students in a digital learning context.
 Proficiency in creating lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
 Skills in tracking and assessing student progress effectively.
Qualifications
 Authorization to work in the United States and possession of a valid professional teaching license in any STEM subject from the state of New York.
 A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
 Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet connection.
 Completion of a Virtual Skills Teaching Demonstration and submission of a background check as part of the application procedure.
 Previous online teaching experience is an advantage.
