Role Description
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support Customer Accounts in Oxfordshire - home to Europe’s largest technology cluster, while focusing on maintaining and building strong relationships through visits to customer sites within the UK research campus. This flexible role blends home office and field-based work, allowing you to collaborate with customers and internal teams to create meaningful solutions. You'll build client trust through consistent, transparent engagement.
Support a significant investment aimed at strengthening the Account Management team and accelerating revenue growth
Nurture client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth
Oversee a diverse portfolio of customers in the pharmaceutical industry
Identify trends and uncover new opportunities to drive sales and enhance competitive advantage
Demonstrate strategic agility in managing customer relationships and projects
Optimize your territory to maximize customer visits
Leverage local, cross-functional, and external contacts to achieve targets
Execute sales strategies and generate insightful sales reports
Play a key role in driving the company’s business growth
Qualifications
Proven expertise in a complex sales environment, with a solution-based selling approach involving multiple stakeholders in the purchasing decision
Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline is preferred but not essential
Solid experience in B2B sales
Strong understanding of the company’s products, promotions, services, and solutions for customers
Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical product and service portfolio is highly desirable
Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential; proficiency in one or two additional languages is highly desirable
Skilled in building mutually beneficial relationships and leading strategic conversations with customers
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently
Proactive, inspirational, and team-focused
Experience with C4C, SAP, and Microsoft Teams is preferred
A driving license is essential
