As an Accountant at Atlan, you'll serve as a cornerstone in our financial infrastructure, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance in all financial operations.

Your Mission at Atlan
Precision in Revenue: Ensure accuracy in sales orders, invoices, and revenue contracts, guaranteeing proper revenue accounting treatment.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with Revenue/Sales Operation and Procurement teams to swiftly resolve any issues with revenue and vendor contracts.
Guardian of Financial Integrity: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, ensuring unwavering accuracy.
Vigilant Financial Oversight: Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, balance sheets, and P&L accounts, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Supporting Payroll Excellence: Play a pivotal role in monthly and semi-monthly payroll cycles, ensuring accurate recording through essential journal entries.
Championing Process Excellence: Assist in implementing cutting-edge accounting policies, controls, and procedures, driving compliance and efficiency.
Master of Reporting: Prepare meticulous internal and external financial reporting schedules, contributing to timely and accurate reporting practices.
Excellence in Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service to finance and non-finance partners, nurturing strong and enduring relationships.
Master of Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster productive relationships with diverse internal stakeholders, spanning People, Operations, Finance, Admin, and Legal teams.
Adaptive Problem-Solver: Demonstrate flexibility in undertaking diverse GL-related activities to meet evolving team and organizational needs.
Driving Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to ad hoc accounting projects and requests, pioneering process enhancements and operational efficiencies.
What makes you a match for us?
Educational Excellence: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance.
Proven Experience: Bring 3+ years’ experience in an accountant role, ideally within SaaS/IT/ITes environments.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office tools such as Excel and Word, with exposure to Oracle Netsuite being a plus.
Sound Financial Acumen: Possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and Indian tax laws.
Detail-Oriented: Exhibit a keen eye for detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all financial records.
Communication Maestro: Excel in both verbal and written communication, fostering effective collaboration across teams.
Team Player Mentality: Thrive both independently and as part of a cohesive team, contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment.
