POSITION SUMMARY

The Territory Sales Manager will serve as an essential part of the Sunstar GUM® Professional channel sales team, reporting to the Director of Sales, National Accounts. This role is responsible for driving business growth in line with both short-term and long-term objectives across a defined geographic area.

The Territory Sales Manager will oversee dealer and customer relationships as part of the national accounts team, ensuring comprehensive market penetration and relationship building at all levels. Teamwork is essential, as this position works in close collaboration with the Strategic Accounts Team to identify, engage with, and sell to group practices, private practices and institutional customers.

A successful territory sales manager will have a demonstrated growth mindset, work with multiple priorities, and manage ambiguity as part of a fast-paced, high-performance team with a bias for action.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Translate business priorities into comprehensive sales and account management strategies.
  • Manage and promote the complete range of Sunstar GUM products and services.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with the Strategic Accounts Team, Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, Dental Dealer counterparts, and other industry partners.
  • Analyze and assess business performance, market trends, and business conditions to optimize overall business strategies.
  • Conduct territory business reviews and customer visits, ensuring team alignment with organizational goals.
  • Represent the organization at dental industry events and conventions.
  • Effectively navigate and leverage virtual customer engagement and in-person selling environment.
  • This role will involve some travel and participation in client meetings and industry events.
    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES
  • Proven experience in the dental or healthcare sector, especially in a strategic or C-suite interaction role.
  • Demonstrated sales and leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Critical thinking & decision-making skills through data utilization to deliver results.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a track record of relationship building.
  • Financial acumen, understanding of profit/revenue drivers and ROI analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent industry experience.

The pay range for this position of Territory Sales Manager is $79,902-119,853. However, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation
