Quality Assurance Associate, Underwriting
- Description:
- Contract Review : Review contracts for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Decision Making: Make informed decisions regarding the acceptance, modification, or rejection of contract based on underwriting guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work with agents and other internal departments to gather necessary information and ensure accurate processing of the contracts.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of underwriting decisions, including reasons for rejections or exceptions and prepare reports summarizing your books of business.
- Requirements:
- College Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2+ year's experience within accounting, quality assurance, insurance or underwriting
- Service Contract or Automotive Warranty Administrator experience is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate at a business level.
- Strong work ethic, time management and organizational skills.
- Detail oriented, able to catch and identify discrepancies.
- Proactive problem solver able to provide input and think critically through solutions.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S or Canada
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
