NEEDED: A Meticulous Systems Coordinator
I need a very organized person to be our Systems Coordinator. Responsibilities include (1) ensuring all of our company systems and procedures are clearly documented in our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) manual, (2) ensuring those systems are entered and maintained in TeamWork, (3) working with me (the owner) to create, revise, and improve internal workflows, and (4) performing quality checks on our SOPs to ensure they’re clear, current, and complete.
MUSTS
The person I'm looking for must (1) have advanced Google Docs skills and a strong ability to structure and format complex documents, (2) have meticulous attention to detail, (3) be very familiar with technology, (4) be responsive/communicate, (5) be polite, (6) not flaky and can commit to a long-term arrangement, (7) have a desire/willingness/ability to learn quickly, (8) be able to maintain confidentiality, (9) be able to pass a background check, and (10) take ownership for their actions/decisions.
PAY
I believe in paying people a generous wage for work well done—this is relative to what you can do for me. I'm not going to pay a crazy high wage at the beginning in hopes that you work out—I expect people to prove their value, and then I will compensate you accordingly. If I hire you at a higher wage, my tolerance for incompetence will be lower, and vice versa, so submit your proposal accordingly.
HOURS
I need someone who works during my hours—9-5 PST, Monday through Friday. At the beginning, I imagine this is a full time engagement for the first month. After that, depending on the individual's capacity and how much they help, I imagine this position would require 1-4 hours per week ongoing.
ABOUT ME
My company has been around since 2005, and I provide various high-end services to my clients. I am friendly, have a good sense of humor, am a straight shooter, am direct and say what is on my mind, don't mess around, love technology, am patient with competent individuals, am moderately impatient with incompetent individuals, and try to be very generous. I am a family man and believe in God.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I am not interested in training someone from scratch—if you don't have at least one year's experience as an office manager, administrative assistant, systems coordinator, project coordinator, executive assistant, or similar position, do not apply. I am willing to teach someone my systems and processes, but I won't train on basic administrative/office concepts. If you aren't crazy organized, don't even bother applying. I won't consider someone who types slower than 60 wpm. I like happy people. I am flexible with your schedule so long as you're on top of your work. I've attached our core values—I hire and fire people depending on their ability to exemplify them. If you're interested in applying, start your proposal with your favorite food written in ALL CAPS on its own line—no other text before or after it.
