Senior Project Manager - Energy Development

- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to successfully obtain all permits for renewable energy projects
- Self-driven with a proven track record of proactive business development
- Work closely with engineering design teams, regulatory agencies, environmental experts, and land acquisition specialists
- Manage projects to meet project milestones within schedule and budget expectations
- Prepare permitting packages, technical reports, and stakeholder outreach programs
- Provide mentorship and track environmental commitments during project lifecycle
- Actively engage in identifying new team member additions for client needs
- Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience with proactive business development
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment
- Successful candidates are required to pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment: pre-employment drug test and background check
- Experience with leading stakeholder outreach programs for energy projects
- Experience developing projects on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands
- Strong technical writing and research skills as well as solid written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment
- Self-motivated with an interest to learn and grow as a project team
- Five (5) or more years’ experience managing the permitting process for energy project teams and mentorship of team members
- Experience with managing environmental resource specialists and managing large project teams
