Senior Director - State Authorization and Licensure
- Description:
- provide expertise and guidance, supporting compliance with state regulations and requirements for offering educational programs across state lines
- monitoring and ensuring compliance with state authorization requirements and state licensure regulations
- developing and implementing policies and procedures related to state authorization and state licensure
- staying up to date on changes in state regulations
- working closely with state agencies
- communicating with faculty, staff, and administrators about state authorization requirements
- coordinating System resources to identify potential compliance risks
- maintaining accurate records of state authorization applications, approvals, compliance activities
- engagement with key external organizations
- Requirements:
- a minimum of 7 years of a proven track record in senior administrative roles within higher education institutions
- experience specifically in accreditation (institutional and programmatic/ specialized), regulation, and licensure in a higher education environment
- knowledge of state authorization regulations and licensure compliance
- familiarity with accreditation standards, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks in higher education
- visionary leadership and the capability to anticipate and adapt to changes within higher education
- strong administrative and organizational skills
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in data analysis and assessment methods
- attention to detail, transaction tracking, and documentation is a must
