Multi-Site Plant Controller

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Site Plant Controller on a contract basis to oversee the financial operations of multiple manufacturing facilities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost management initiatives while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies. As this is a long-term contract position, it offers a unique opportunity to drive financial performance and collaborate closely with plant management teams in optimizing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial leadership and strategic guidance to plant management teams to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports for individual plants and consolidated operations to support decision-making.
  • Oversee cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation, standard cost analysis, and variance reporting.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with plant managers to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor site-level financial teams, fostering growth and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and operational data to provide actionable insights to plant and corporate leadership.
  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation is accurate and readily accessible.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations and supply chain, to align financial strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience, including 5 or more years in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage financial operations across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to mentor teams and build relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to fostering compliance and accountability within the organization.
