Need Help Creating Business Plan & Systems for New Bookkeeping Business (U.S. Only)
Hi there! I’m in the early stages of launching my own bookkeeping business and looking to hire a U.S.-based consultant who has experience helping bookkeepers (not general businesses) create business plans and internal systems.
I’m looking for someone who can guide me step-by-step, not just implement what I already know, but help me think through my options, provide sound advice, and build a strong foundation.
What I Need Help With:
- Creating a simple and effective business plan tailored to a solo bookkeeping business
- Setting up client onboarding workflows (intake forms, proposals, engagement letters, etc.)
- Recommending tools for managing clients, tasks, and documents
- Creating a basic plan for hiring/onboarding one person (who’s been helping me behind the scenes)
- Guidance on choosing pricing models (hourly vs flat rate)
- Suggestions on how to organize my services and offerings
Ideal Candidate:
- Must be based in the U.S.
- Fluent in clear, professional English
- Has specific experience helping bookkeepers or CPAs start or grow their business
- Comfortable working with beginners who may not have all the answers yet
- Can explain systems and processes in a clear, non-technical way
- Bonus: Experience with QuickBooks Online, Gusto, ClickUp, Dubsado, or Google Workspace (not required)
