Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated Elementary Dual Language Teacher to support students in a school district located in Zion, IL.
- Position Details:
- Full-time, onsite role
- Classroom-based instruction in a dual language (English/Spanish) elementary setting
- Responsible for delivering core content in both languages to support bilingual literacy and academic success
- Caseload information will be provided during the district interview
- Requirements:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) endorsement
- ESL or Dual Language endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet all Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and district-specific requirements, including background check and fingerprinting
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience in a dual language or bilingual elementary classroom
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills in both English and Spanish
- Familiarity with dual language models, biliteracy development, and culturally responsive teaching practices
- Ability to effectively collaborate with grade-level and bilingual support teams
- Proficiency with instructional technology and blended learning platforms
