Director - Legal, Employment

- ActiveCampaign is looking to add a Director, Legal (Employment) to our Legal team.
- This is a pivotal role where the successful candidate will serve as the company’s dedicated employment law subject matter expert.
- Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will play a crucial role in shaping and supporting our global workforce initiatives, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive and productive environment
- Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois and/or California
- 4-year undergraduate degree.
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- 7+ years of experience as an attorney with a strong focus on labor and employment law.
- Experience managing and/or advising clients with global workforces.
- Experience with Irish, Australian, Polish, Brazilian, Mexican, Costa Rican, and other LATAM legal regimes is preferred.
- Ideal candidates will also have experience with one or more of the following: dispute resolution, employment classification/FLSA, negotiating, administering, and/or drafting employee benefit plans, immigration laws, and familiarity with data privacy and data protection laws.
- Must have excellent research, organizational, and project management skills and be capable of tracking and completing multiple tasks in a timely manner.
