Job Summary:

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Peer Support Service Worker (PSS) to join our team in Idaho. In this role, you will provide support and mentorship to adults and youth experiencing mental health challenges, addiction recovery, and co-occurring disorders. You will build and manage your own caseload, making a significant impact on the lives of the individuals you serve.Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage a caseload of adult and/or youth clients, providing ongoing support, advocacy, and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans.
  • Provide emotional support, guidance, and encouragement.
  • Facilitate peer support groups and activities.
  • Advocate for clients navigating mental health, substance abuse, housing, and employment systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Participate in training and professional development.
  • Qualifications:
  • Certified Peer Support Specialist (PSS) in Idaho. (Required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience working with adults and/or youth in support or mentorship roles.
  • Understanding of mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders.
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseloads.
  • Proficient in documentation and data entry.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Remote work with in-person community engagement.
