Portfolio Coordinator

We are looking for a Portfolio Coordinator to join our team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This is a long-term contract position where you will collaborate closely with Program Managers to support the seamless execution of organizational programs. The role involves managing resources, tracking key milestones, and ensuring effective communication across all levels of business and technical leadership.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and manage program risks, providing timely notifications to Program Managers regarding potential issues.
• Track and analyze budgets and capacity to ensure alignment with program objectives.
• Identify and maintain program-level milestones to ensure projects stay on track.
• Develop clear and concise communications for executive sponsors, technical leads, and other stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate cross-program meetings, preparing agendas and sharing relevant information.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
• Utilize tools such as ServiceNow Project and Portfolio Management, Project Server, Planview, or Jira to support project tracking.
• Coordinate discussions across multiple programs to ensure alignment and progress.
• Maintain detailed documentation to support decision-making and program tracking.

• Bachelor’s degree in a business field, or equivalent education and experience.

• Minimum of two years of related work experience

• Strong understanding of business environments and organizational processes.

• Exceptional analytical abilities to identify, monitor, and manage risks.

• Keen attention to detail, particularly when tracking budgets and program metrics.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint for creating impactful presentations.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as ServiceNow, Project Server, Planview, or Jira.
