Northwest Regional Sales Manager (Remote - Any Northwest State)
Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 annually
Location: Remote within CA, OR, WA, CO, ID, MT, UT (can also office in our Salt Lake City, UT or Three Forks, MT)
Travel: ~25% depending on time of year - includes client visits and industry events
Industry: Commercial bread bakery (300 employees, $80M annual sales)

As our Regional Sales Manager, you'll be the driving force behind establishing and expanding our commercial bakery and mill brand across key territories. You'll build and sustain strong relationships with retailers, grocers, restaurants, cafes, and distributors-championing our craft-quality products while delivering profitable growth and exceptional customer service. Work closely with production, logistics, and customer service teams to align sales goals with operational execution.
- What You'll Do
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with grocery chains, independent retailers, foodservice outlets, restaurants, cafes, and distributors across the northwest, including CA, OR, & WA.
- Identify and secure new business through distributor partnerships and direct sales.
- Promote our bakery and mill products by effectively communicating their quality, sourcing story, and artisan appeal.
- Lead pricing, contract, and product placement negotiations to drive profitability.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure on-time fulfillment and outstanding customer experience.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to refine and adapt sales strategies.
- Represent the brand at trade shows and networking events to boost awareness and generate leads.
- Report regularly on sales performance, pipeline, and strategic insights to leadership.
- Expected travel is ~25% (overnight stays included).

Qualifications
What We Need You to Bring
- Knowledge & Skills
- Proven sales and marketing expertise - wide-ranging knowledge of pricing strategies, relationship management, and sales techniques.
- Insight into bakery products, food distribution, and relevant regulations - mill product knowledge a bonus.
- Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, timemanagement, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite, and sales-tracking tools.
- Comfortable traveling ~25% region-wide for client meetings, events, and trade shows.
- Experience & Education
- Associate's degree in business, Communications, or related field (bachelor's preferred).
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in food or bakery industries, with artisan or specialty baked goods an advantage.
- Established West Coast / Mountain region network including retailers, distributors, foodservice providers.
- Nice-to-Haves

- Background in logistics coordination or supply-chain environment
