Resident Quality Engineer
- Description:
- Ensure safety practices are followed
- Ensure that quality finished goods are received
- Communicate quality concerns reported in customer facility to Stoneridge plant
- Review with customer any NCPs
- Ensure effective control of rejected material
- Verify and maintain testing equipment
- Report official quality concerns
- Perform containment activities at site
- Create detailed reports of quality issues
- Inspect, analyze and repair rejected units
- Responsible for correct execution of Process Deviation
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or other engineering discipline), or at least 5 years of experience as Quality or Electronic Technician
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance, quality control, supplier quality and/or quality liaison role within an automotive or commercial vehicle manufacturing facility
- Problem-Solving Methodologies (5-Why, Fishbone Diagram)
- Basic knowledge of factory processes (automotive preferably)
- Experience working under pressure
- Experience with companies that have personnel of diverse backgrounds
- English language skills, verbal and written
