Job Opening: Executive Marketing & Operations Assistant (Remote, Part-Time or Freelance)
Are you the kind of person who notices when a comma is out of place, can juggle multiple platforms with ease, and thrives on creating clarity out of chaos?
We're looking for a detail-oriented, self-starting Executive Assistant to support a small business owner with daily operational, organization, research, email management, marketing, and project management tasks.
This is a remote role with flexible hours (5–15 hours/week to start), with potential to grow into a long-term position.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Email review and triage: Read and prioritize emails; flag tasks for follow-up
- Task management: Create and update to-do items inside Canopy
- Marketing support: Research content trends, compile data, assist with posting or scheduling
- Research & list building: Find leads, tools, influencers, or competitors based on clear prompts
- Admin support: Track follow-ups, organize files, handle simple reporting or checklists
- Skills & Traits We're Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid written communication
- Experience with project or task management software (Canopy, Airtable, Trello, etc.)
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through
- Familiarity with Instagram, online business, accounting firms, service-based firms, and digital tools is a plus
Tools We Use:
Gmail, Canopy, Airtable, Meta Ads, CapCut, Google Docs, Loom, Outlook, Slack, Canva, and more. Experience is great — willingness to learn is better.
Compensation:
Hourly or flat-rate, depending on experience.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
