CONSTRUCTION OWNER REPRESENTATIVE (PROJECT MGMT)

Ministry Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to act as an Owner's Representative, driving multiple church building projects from inception to completion. This role demands a construction background and proven ability to lead clients through all phases of development. The Project Manager will be responsible for executing projects, including consultant and vendor procurement and management throughout construction. Strong leadership is essential to ensure accountability for budgets, timelines, and project expectations.
Ideal candidates will be resourceful, self-motivated, proven leaders, and deeply committed to serving church clients. A background in construction management, program management, or architecture (with construction administration experience) is a significant advantage. Proficiency in construction knowledge and Microsoft Office Suite, coupled with exceptional communication and client service skills, is required.
Status: 1099 Contractor. Full-time and Fractional (Part-time) Positions
Location: Remote / 30-40% travel required – Pacific or Mountain Time Zone location is required
Base Pay: Based on relevant years of experience in construction project management
Responsibilities
❖ Lead client and vendor meetings in a church context
❖ Develop and maintain construction project schedules & budgets on behalf of the Client
❖ Communicate critical project information, next steps, and milestones to Clients
❖ Client reports regarding the financial and task management performance of the project
❖ Project cost tracking and managing vendor payment processes
❖ Prepare RFP and RFQ bid packages, as well as oversee the procurement process
❖ Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and follow-up meeting notes
❖ Attend and lead project team meetings (onsite and virtual)
❖ Manage project management software updates to ensure accuracy, including notes and documentation
❖ Other duties as assigned
Experience
❖ 10+ years of construction industry experience
❖ Strong leadership skills
❖ Excellent time management and organizational skills
❖ Strong decision-making/problem-solving skills
❖ Computer knowledge and efficiency
❖ Proficient in Project Management software and Microsoft Office and/or Google suite of products
❖ Very strong construction project scheduling & budgeting skills
❖ Strong written and verbal communication skills
❖ Good math/accounting skills
❖ Strong management skills
❖ Functions effectively as part of a team
❖ Ability to develop or maintain relationships with clients
❖ Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
❖ Dependability
❖ Must be able to travel at least 30% of the time
