Pay rate is (25.00 - )40.00 hourly.

    Skills
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting (required)
  • Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology (required)
  • Knowledge and understanding of chronic care management processes (preferred)
  • Fluency in English and Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese/Russian (writing, reading, and speaking) (preferred)
  • A customer service mindset for both internal and external customers (required)
  • Strong proficiency in computer software navigation; data entry and data cleansing
  • Fundamental knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, or similar
  • A demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team, displaying good judgment and decision-making skills
  • A flexible and adaptable nature, excited by change and a start-up environment
  • Ability to perform duties as assigned or requested
    Responsibilities
  • Provide practice support including contacting members, caregivers, and care team members as directed
  • Work closely with the clinical team to improve the health and care of our members
  • Coordinate care for patients of the practice
  • Perform precise data entry within the electronic medical record, as appropriate for scope of practice
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Answer phones with a smile and customer service orientation
  • Schedule patient visits using mapping software
  • Other administrative support
    Qualifications
  • Medical Assistant and/or Medical Scribe Certification (required)
  • Ability to travel within the designated service area and reliable transportation, including to locations with limited access to public transportation; valid driver’s license and proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle required
  • A quiet place to work on remote days, where patient-related conversations can happen in private and employees can focus on patient-related tasks.

Education Requirements

Medical Assistant Certification required.
