- Skills
- 3-6 years of experience in estimating or pre-construction in a fast-paced environment
- General contractor or subcontractor experience (hotel construction or tenant improvement experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in estimating and project management software, plus Microsoft 365 skills
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage complex processes accurately and thrive under pressure
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Responsibilities
- Develop competitive budgets and estimates (ranging from (1M-)5M)
- Contribute to bid calendars and nurture strong client relationships
- Collaborate with the pre-construction team to gather vendor and subcontractor proposals
- Ensure proposals meet target gross margins and maintain profitability during the buyout phase
- Stay up-to-date on hotel brand standards and ADA compliance requirements
- Conduct on-site and digital takeoffs and maintain accurate records
- Represent the company at client meetings, site visits, and kick-off events
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or Business Management (or equivalent experience)
- Confidence in managing budgets, estimates, and project transitions
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients and subcontractors
- Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Education Requirements Credential Category
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or Business Management
- Experience Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in estimating or pre-construction
