Role Overview:
We’re looking for a highly experienced and strategic ASO & Apple Ads Expert to take charge of optimising our app listings in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This is a part-time role to start, with a clear pathway to becoming full-time as our platform and reach continue to grow.
You’ll be responsible for improving visibility, driving organic downloads, and increasing conversion rates through metadata, keyword, and creative optimisation. Experience managing Apple Search Ads is highly desirable. Success in building strong traction for new apps, especially in the US market, is essential.
Responsibilities:
Own and continuously refine our ASO strategy across both Apple and Google Play Stores.
Conduct keyword research, competitor benchmarking, and regular store audits to improve performance.
Optimise all store metadata (titles, keywords, descriptions, tags) to boost search visibility and conversions.
Create and test compelling creative assets (screenshots, icons, videos) in collaboration with our design team.
Launch and manage Apple Search Ads campaigns, monitoring results and optimising for ROI.
Report on key ASO metrics including impressions, conversion rates, and install trends — with clear insights and actions.
Align app store listings with seasonal campaigns, content launches, and new product features.
Support international rollout strategies (e.g. Tethered to Ireland) by identifying localisation opportunities and market nuances.
Collaborate closely with marketing and content teams to ensure store messaging reflects brand tone and user intent.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on ASO experience with proven results growing app visibility, installs, and revenue.
Demonstrated success scaling new apps, especially in the highly competitive US market.
Proficient in leading ASO tools (e.g. AppTweak, Sensor Tower, Mobile Action, App Radar).
Strong track record with Apple Search Ads — including keyword strategy, bid optimisation, and campaign management.
Ability to analyse performance data and translate it into actionable ASO improvements.
Strong English writing and metadata editing skills.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with wellness, lifestyle, or mindfulness apps.
Familiarity with international markets, including UK, Ireland, Canada, and Australia.
Experience supporting localisation and multi-region keyword strategies.
Understanding of app monetisation and subscription funnel dynamics.
