Staff Software Engineer (Backend AI Voice Agent Team)
Omnichannel Product Group's mission is to empower front-office teams to accelerate deal closures, proactively resolve customer issues, and personalize interactions through an AI-first omnichannel platform. As a Staff Engineer on the AI Voice Agent team at HubSpot, you'll do many things, including leading cross-functional efforts to integrate AI voice agents with customer agents and enhance persona-based workflows.
Requirements
- Delivering high-value, high-impact, cross-team projects
- Experience designing and scaling real-time communication systems using WebSockets, programmable voice platforms, and low-latency media pipelines
- Experience with Generative AI applications and working as part of a platform team
- Leading cross-functional efforts to integrate AI voice agents with customer agents and enhance persona-based workflows
- Mentoring and teaching engineers in their areas of expertise
- Providing strategic direction for major projects
- Regularly mentoring and teaching engineers in their areas of expertise
