TITLE: Indirect Tax Analyst 2
DEPARTMENT: Finance
REPORTING TO: Indirect Tax Manage
OFFICE LOCATION: Madrid
Overview of the Team
An excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional to step into the role of Indirect Tax Analyst 2 within the Finance organization. This position offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and evolving tax department, contributing to automation initiatives, collaborating with an outsourcing provider, and engaging in strategic business partnerships within the Company.
Role Overview:
- Gather indirect tax compliance data and support third-party preparation of global indirect tax returns
- Prepare and enter indirect tax journal entries
- Partner with Treasury Analyst to coordinate indirect tax payments
- Prepare US Property Tax Returns
- Prepare US Annual Reports
- Support indirect tax audits via data collection and organization
- Responsible for maintaining monthly Indirect Tax balance sheet reconciliations
- Identify system process improvement opportunities for existing processes and drive positive change
- Establish and maintain best practices documentation
- Support and liaise with the broader finance team on cross functional projects and initiatives

Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business administration
- Advanced English Level
- Previous experience in Indirect Tax, preferably at an international level
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Willingness to understand major steps in compliance process, from data sourcing through filing and tax account activity
- Ability to identify and implement continuous process improvements
- Operative understanding of tax cycle from planning through audit
- Ability to understand complex tax concepts and apply those concepts to minimize taxes
- Ability and desire to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with others throughout the Finance organization
- Operates with a sense of urgency
- Ability to motivate others to work towards established deadlines
- Good business sense and creative problem-solving skill
- Passion for understanding processes and continuous process improvement
