We are hiring immediately for a short-term, remote support project. Paid training and limited spots available. This is a first come, first served opportunity we are sharing with you, if you're ready to jump in, don't wait!
- Position Overview
- Role: Tier 1 Tech Support – General Customer Support for an ISP
- Pay: $14.25/hour (temp position with the possibility of extension based on company needs)
- Schedule: Your 8-hour shift will be between 6am-7pm PST
- Project Duration: 1 to 5 weeks depending on performance and company needs
- Training: Paid
- OT Available: Yes (based on company needs)
- Job Focus: Supporting users during move-ins, assisting with internet setup, basic troubleshooting, and general tech support
- You Must Meet the Following Requirements:
- Be 18 years or older
- Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to provide customer service in a friendly and professional way
- Have a quiet, distraction-free home workspace
- Have basic tech knowledge, including knowing the difference between a modem and a router
- Required Technical Equipment (Not Provided)
- Windows-based laptop or desktop (Macs, Chromebooks, tablets, iPads are not compatible, you will be asked to share your screen during the interview to test your computer specs)
- 8GB of RAM minimum (16GB preferred)
- Dual monitors (your laptop or PC is considered one and one additional monitor is needed) and a high-quality headset
- Hardwired internet connection with an ethernet cable only (No Wi-Fi, mobile hotspots, or satellite internet)
- Minimum download speed: 20 Mbps
- Minimum upload speed: 10 Mbps, with a Ping of 20 or lower
- Test your speed at: www.speedtest.net (if you are interested, please run this test on your laptop or PC, (not from your cell phone), please attach the screenshot in your response to this application.
3 Training Classes – Limited Spots Available, once class #1 is filled we will push you toward the second and third class.
- Class 1 (3 candidates needed)
- Orientation: Tuesday, July 30 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM PST
- Training: July 31 – Aug 1 | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM PST
- Go Live: August 3rd or 4th, we will confirm during the interview
- Project Duration: Up to 5 weeks
- Class 2 (12 candidates needed)
- Orientation: Tuesday, August 6 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM PST
- Training: August 7–8 | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM PST
- Go Live: August 10th or 11th, we will confirm during the interview
- Project Duration: 3 weeks
- Class 3 (11 candidates needed)
- Orientation: Tuesday, August 13 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM PST
- Training: August 14–15 | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM PST
- Go Live: August 17th or 18th, we will confirm during the interview
- Project Duration: 1 week (with potential to extend based on companies' needs and performance)
