R&D Packaging Co-Op

6-month immersive Co-Op in Packaging at Kraft Heinz, delivering critical projects, learning from leaders, and building a direct-hire pipeline.

Your Role:

    Key responsibilities include:
  • Participating in a 6-month immersive Co-Op program as part of a cohort, learning directly from Kraft Heinz leaders.
  • Joining a function-specific role within the U.S. Packaging team and delivering tangible business results.
  • Completing projects at different stages (initiation, development, and/or commercialization), coordinating multiple moving parts.
  • Implementing, analyzing, and forming recommendations against experiments via lab testing and plant trials using the scientific method.
  • Actively pursuing technical and business knowledge to understand the broader business impact of projects.
  • Presenting project outcomes and results to the US Packaging Leadership Team at the program’s conclusion.
  • Engaging in weekly learning opportunities and social events.
  • Working on projects critical to team success, such as developing recyclable packaging to meet sustainability goals and improving packaging for high-volume products.

About You:

    The ideal candidate will have:
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, or related majors.
  • Status as a (Rising) Junior or Senior undergraduate or current graduate student.
  • Excitement for setting and delivering against personal goals and a track record of over-delivering.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high energy, creativity, and a strong interest in growth and learning.
  • A naturally hungry yet humble attitude.
    Compensation & Benefits:
  • New hire base salary range (specific figures not provided; compensation will consider internal equity, geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience).
