Athletic Graduate Intern - Lacrosse
Gardner-Webb University, an NCAA Division l Program, seeks a Lacrosse Athletics Graduate Intern to work with the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach to assist with all lacrosse related activities for the 25-26 season, including the Big South Conference. This position will work directly with the Head Coach and staff in all aspects of program management, player development, and team operations.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help the coaching staff with all facets of running a Division 1 Lacrosse Program including but not limited to planning practices: film scouting, review and breakdown, running individuals and practice/speed sessions.
- Assist with coaching and development of student athletes.
- Will be responsible for organizing logistics for home games, including the needs for the visiting team.
- Help run all social media channels alongside study hall responsibilities for student athletes.
- Manage team gear inventory.
- Coordinate on campus visits.
- Oversee pregame operations.
- Confer with coaching staff with strategic planning and practice sessions.
- Establish team guidelines, policies, and procedures, within Gardner-Webb and NCAA guidelines.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Acceptance into a GWU graduate program required
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
