Temporary Season Phone Support Representative/1099 Contractor

We are seeking TEMPORARY SEASONAL TEAM MEMBERS to provide PHONE SUPPORT for an independent claims adjusting firm. This role involves answering incoming calls from clients, policyholders, and adjusters, assisting with basic inquiries, routing calls, and documenting information in our systems. This is a non-claims handling role focused strictly on phone and administrative support.
- Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner
- Provide general information or route callers to the appropriate department or contact person
- Take detailed messages as needed, ensuring accuracy and clarity
- Document call information in company systems following established procedures
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company projects
- Support the team with light administrative tasks as assigned
- Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service, call center or administrative support preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks
- Proficiency with basic computer systems, including Microsoft office and CRM platforms
- Reliable attendance is essential
- Schedule:
- Full-time and part-time positions available, remote
- Must be available during peak storm season hours, including occasional weekends and evenings as needed
- Compensation:
- Hourly wage; rate based on experience
- 1099 Independent Contractor
