Position Summary:
We’re looking for a driven and resourceful Fundraising & Grant Writer Intern to help fuel our mission through strategic fundraising, grant applications, and investment research. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, balancing independent work with collaboration. You will play a key role in securing funding opportunities by supporting grant applications, refining pitch materials, and identifying potential investors.
Time Commitment:
⏳ 10-15 hours per week (flexible based on project needs)
- Key Responsibilities:
- Grant & Funding Applications – Assist in writing, editing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding.
- Accelerator & Investment Research – Identify and support applications for accelerator programs and funding opportunities.
- Pitch Deck & Business Plan Enhancement – Edit and refine pitch decks, business plans, and executive summaries to make them investor-ready.
- Investment & Funding Sourcing – Research and identify potential investment funds and donor opportunities.
- Content & Proposal Development – Tailor responses for funding applications and update existing materials to align with specific opportunities.
We currently have a repository of application responses, but thoughtful customization is needed for unique questions. Additionally, our Executive Summary, Business Plan, and Pitch Deck require refinement to maximize their impact.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in-
- Crafting compelling business plans and pitch decks
- Successfully helping clients secure funding
- Writing winning grant proposals with a track record of funding success
- Completing startup funding applications for grants, accelerators, or investments
- Strong copywriting and business writing skills with exceptional attention to detail
