Mandatory Outsourcing Management Intern
Your mission
Become a part of our dynamic Outsourcing Management team and help us continuously optimize our outsourcing structures and align them with evolving regulatory requirements. You'll gain deep insights into the regulatory frameworks of a modern financial institution and actively contribute to strengthening our compliance and operational resilience.In this role, you will:
- Regulatory Research & Analysis: Support the continuous monitoring and evaluation of new laws, regulations, RTS/ITS, and guidelines (e.g., MiCAR, DORA, EBA Outsourcing Guidelines, MaRisk) regarding their impact on our Outsourcing Management.
- Gap Analysis: Assist in systematically reviewing our existing outsourcing policies, procedures, and contracts for conformity with current regulatory requirements. Identify gaps and propose solutions for remediation.
- Process Optimization: Help revise and standardize internal processes, risk assessments, and workflows within the outsourcing lifecycle while implementing AI Tools and automation.
- Contract Management: Aid in reviewing and evaluating service provider contracts for the presence and adequacy of required regulatory clauses (e.g., ICT risks, audit rights, exit strategies, data protection, chain outsourcing).
- Documentation & Reporting: Support the maintenance of our outsourcing documentation (Assessments, Due Diligence Records etc.) and the preparation of presentations and reports for management and involved business departments.
- Ad-hoc Analyses: Conduct research and analysis on specific questions related to outsourcing and third-party risk management.
What you need to be successful:
- You are naturally driven to improve processes, challenge the status quo, and drive meaningful change within a young and agile organization.
- Currently enrolled student (m/f/d) in Business Administration, Law, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study, ideally with a focus on Compliance, Risk Management, or Financial Regulation.
- Initial exposure to or strong interest in financial market regulation (e.g., MiCAR, KWG, MaRisk, DORA, EBA Guidelines) is a significant advantage.
- High affinity for legal and regulatory issues and the ability to quickly grasp complex matters.
- Structured and analytical thinking, as well as a meticulous and independent working style.
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Affinity for AI Tools, process optimization and automating workflows.
