Location: Remote; Preference is Orlando or Florida or East Coast; if NOT in Orlando, would need someone to travel onsite maybe once a month to the office

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Delivery Manager to drive the Dynamics 365 project focused on migrating the Databricks platform to a new subscription. The Delivery Manager will work closely with a cross-functional team, including a Data Technical Lead, Technical Analyst, Data Engineer, and Data Analyst, to ensure successful project execution. You will be responsible for managing the project backlog, aligning the team's efforts with business goals, and helping optimize resource utilization across the team. Your deep understanding of data pipeline management, Azure Data Factory, and industry best practices will ensure smooth coordination between the technical and business sides of the project.

    Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager with a strong background in managing end to end delivery of a cloud product into another environment, preferably working with all MS products.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and Databricks is highly preferred, particularly with respect to migrations and integrations.
  • Experience working with data-related projects, preferably in the context of Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or cloud migration.
  • Experience working in or managing cross-functional teams that include Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Technical Analysts.
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, ETL processes, data integration, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Proven ability to analyze team utilization, performance, and backlog health, ensuring tasks are allocated appropriately and resources are effectively used.
  • Solid experience working in an Agile environment, with hands-on involvement in backlog management, sprint planning, and sprint execution.
  • Proven experience managing the data quality across multiple systems, utilizing the canonical model.
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
  • Experience with cloud migrations or Databricks project execution, specifically in the context of data integrations and platform changes.
  • Strong familiarity with data modeling and data management best practices.
  • Azure certifications, such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Fundamentals.
    Key Responsibilities:
  • Integration Leadership: Own and manage the data and application integration processes, ensuring accountability and risk management across teams.
  • Data Layer Management: Organize and oversee the creation of bronze, silver, and gold data layers, driving work from one layer to the next.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate multiple teams (4 groups), ensuring collaboration and alignment across development efforts.
  • Scrum Management: Drive Agile practices and Scrum ceremonies, ensuring the teams are aligned with sprint goals and timelines.
  • Technical Oversight: Lead the integration from both a technical and managerial perspective, ensuring teams follow best practices, particularly within Databricks and other data platforms.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues that may arise during integration processes.
    Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong ability to manage multiple teams, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Databricks, data integration techniques, API integration, and canonical data models.
  • Agile & Scrum Leadership: Experience with Agile methodologies and leading Scrum teams. Certifications are beneficial but practical experience is critical.
  • Engineering or Architecture Background: Understanding of data and application integration architectures, and the ability to think technically.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate across technical and business teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and align multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tight timelines, delivering high-quality results under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strategic mindset to keep the team focused on the bigger picture while managing day-to-day tasks.
