Lead Project Management Specialist
- Description:
- Enhancement of existing and implementation of new programs.
- Maintain and create a professional yet personalized relationship with assigned customers.
- Accountable for continuous improvement in customer program management tools and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers regarding customer specific strategy, and customer relationship management.
- Responsible for consistent management and administration of contractual obligations.
- Supports the program by coordinating program metrics.
- Integrates the implementation of the Best Program Management Practices.
- Serve as the escalation point to facilitate the resolution of program issues and develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
- Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance.
- Ensures follow up action for issue resolution.
- Maintain Pipeline Health.
- Possess working knowledge of customer systemic issues and system functionality.
- Train new employees.
- Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding ordering and/or delivery of spare parts and provisioning products or related services.
- Work with Planning to ensure customer forecasts are loaded/updated.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required, without direct supervision.
- Oversee and coordinate key functional stakeholder tasks, facilitate troubleshooting and solution implementation, ensure timely completion of necessary program activities.
- Requirements:
- 5 years or more of related work experience in Sales, Customer Service, or Program Management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in the Aerospace industry, supply chain or similar logistics/distribution industry.
- Experience in data analytics and data modeling
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Hardware, Fasteners, and/or Chemical product experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business Admin, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, etc.)
- 1-2 Years of experience in Project Management activities & Tools (Project Scheduling, Planning, Execution / Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet or similar)
- Experience in data modelling and analysis
- Strong Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
